Little Lofi Witch is a short pixel art side scroller video game created for the Pixel Art Game Jam 2024 on Itch.io. You play as a little witch on a mission to collect cassette tapes in order to produce her mix tape of lo-fi songs while she listens to one of her own songs. The game is meant to be relatively low stakes and relaxing and ends when the song is over.

The game had a general theme of water and was created within a week, as per the jams requirements. To meet the theme, moving up or down with the arrows doesn't move the character up or down within the paralax background but instead moves the collectable cassette tapes up or down, a loose interpretation of buoyancy.

This project was an exploration into how a musical able can be a playable game. Mainly because I thought the idea "Play the Album" as pun on video game play would be fun.
